Justin Thomas is without a doubt, pound-for-pound, the longest driver on tour. If you think otherwise please let us know. Names like Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Bubba Watson often come up when talking about driving distance on the PGA Tour.

Both are relatively bigger guys on Tour that are well-known for lifting big in the gym and crushing the ball off the tee, but you cannot overlook JT. Let’s take a look at Justin Thomas’ Longest Drive Ever!
Justin Thomas’ Height & Weight?
So when we say “pound-for-pound” one will obviously ask the question as to how much he weighs. Thomas weighs in at 160lbs as of 2019. We’d say that’s slightly below average. Nothing too far out of the ordinary. He is 5’10” tall, which is just ever so slightly above average.
However, at the time of his longest drive it was published that he was 145lbs. Now that is light. Especially when you’re able to carry the ball over 300 yards off the tee.

That smaller frame produces as efficient swing as you will see on the PGA Tour. JT’s swing is just about as good as it gets, but if we had to pick one, we’d still go with Rory’s which is just about perfect.
Justin Thomas’ Longest Drive Ever
Justin Thomas’ longest drive ever at a PGA Tour event came at the Nine Bridges Golf Club during the 3rd round of the 2017 CJ Cup. The Nine Bridges Golf Club is located in Jeju Island, South Korea.

JT’s career best came at the Par-5, 598 yard 12th. The monster tee shot measured in at 461 yards. Now I don’t care who you are that’s a long ways. Not to take anything away from Justin, but it certainly would not gone as far without the biggest cart path bounce I’ve ever seen!
Justin Thomas’ 461 Yard Drive
Regardless of the massive cart bounce, JT’s stats speak for themselves. In 2017 he averaged 309.7 yards of the tee. That is good for 10th place in the 2019 Driving Distance.
