I figure the former world number one would be a good choice for the spotlight this week seeing at he just signed a partnership extension with the event sponsor AT&T. He also is a former winner at the event when he won the 2017 Pebble Beach Pro-Am for the 9th victory of his professional career.

2017 Pebble Beach Pro-Am
23-years-old at the time, Jordan Spieth dominated play all weekend. He went into the final round with a 6 shot lead and cruised to what I would say was an easy win. He hit a final round 70 (2-under) and finished 4 strokes ahead of Kelly Kraft, the former U.S. Amateur Champion.

Though it was only 2 years ago, you could consider his round “Vintage Spieth”. He was putting for birdie on every single hole except one. That is just down right ridiculous. Sure he only hit 2 of the birdie putts (had 14 straight pars), but when you give yourself a 6-shot lead after 54 holes that’s about as perfect round as you could ask for.
