Tiger Woods’ at the 16th, 2005 Masters
There have been many shots that have defined the game of golf over its rich history. Many of these shots have come from the most dominant player ever, Tiger Woods.
During the late 90’s and early 2000’s it seemed every time he stepped on the course Tiger pulled off a shot that left competitors shaking their heads in disbelief, and had the fans exploding in applause.
One shot however stands above the rest. During the Final Round of the 2005 Masters while clinging to a 1-shot lead on the 16th, Tiger Woods pulled off, without a doubt, the greatest shot in the history of the game.
Never to be Outdone!
The ball lay right up against the second cut while millions watched the World’s #1 Ranked Golfer robotically eye up the green and a landing spot for what would have to be perfect for a chance to hole out.
To this day I still get the chills looking at Tiger’s eyes analyze the green. The combination of skill, focus, and determination during the preparation and execution of the shot are unmatched to this day.
